- pullquote: Getting people to vote for anything that isn't a tv show is tough. We reached out to members’ love for the Co-op and boiled down the idea that a vote in the election is a vote for your Co-op to Vote MEC.
To accompany it we wanted fun, positive graphics, and GOP elements were the perfect fit conceptually and visually.
We rethought deliverables. With a rosette as the anchor, posters became t-shirts, buttons, balloons. The election book doubled in size with half the pages for better comparison of candidates. The election site was all new, with comparative features. Voting online was easier.
In the end voting more than doubled, and staff still wear their t-shirts.
